Earlier this morning, a story broke out about Malouda looking for an apartment at Santos, São Paulo. The city is also home of football club Santos, where Pelé, Robinho and Neymar emerged. It was also reported that Malouda met with Santos president Luis Álvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro, or LAOR to keep it short. Diego, currently at Wolfsburg, and Riquelme, who’s leaving Boca Juniors at the moment according to his agent, have been linked to Flamengo these past days in the media. Flamengo reportedly made a bid of €2.6m to get Diego on loan, and Flamengo’s football director Zinho said he’d be interested in acquiring Riquelme’s services. It was a busy night in Brazil yesterday. First, Daily Mail broke the story by saying Oscar would move to Chelsea for £25m. Shortly after, it was the Telegraph claiming the move would cost £22m. But Oscar denied the claims with a simply “I’m staying (at Internacional)” when asked about the veracity of reports that came out on a hotel lobby. But this thing is far from done. Continue reading

Darío Conca has been saying to the media how he wants to move out of China since his first struggles in Chinese team Guangzhou Evergrande started, even going on to hand a transfer request. According to Conca, his wife, who recently had his first born child, didn’t adapt accordingly to Chinese culture, and he himself is sick of episodes like not being allowed to bring his child to the pitch.
Conca also expressed his wishes to get back to Brazilian football, preferably to the club which sent him to media limelight: Fluminense. But his transfer wouldn’t be the easiest thing to get through. Continue reading
