Fluminense looking to lock up Wallace

Young RB is partly owned by Chelsea

Hopefully you didn’t get scared by his picture. Anyway, the promising 18 years old right back has been getting attention from Italian clubs Napoli,  Inter Milan and Juventus with the latter offering 5m euros for his services, while Chelsea was also rumored to be interested in the player, but as they currently own 40% of his rights they wouldn’t have to pay a huge amount of money. But things seem to be getting nicer for Fluminense fans.

Robinho on Atlético-MG list

“What am I good at? Y’know… step-overs and stuff”

Atlético-MG has been under a very good phase. They are standing at 1st place in the Brazilian League after 8 rounds, managed to make Ronaldinho Gaúcho serviceable for them, and they’ve been stable on and off the pitch; something that I sincerely haven’t seen in my life since I follow football. Adriano getting back on training

Adriano starts training following injury

This Wednesday morning, 30 years old striker and “ronin” Adriano started to train with a ball following an injury that took him out of Corinthians and the fields as well since April this year.

Flamengo hopes that Adriano can find his 2009 form, when he led the team to a Brazilian League title with help of now retired Serbian player Devan Petkovic. Problem is Adriano has been involved with off-field issues since he returned to Brazil to play with Corinthians, where he missed more than 40 training sessions, including ones to treat his injury. Some consider him a retired player who hasn’t left his career yet; might be true, but only time will tell if Flamengo’s (low) investment will get any return for them aside shirt selling.
